Dr. Barbara Diakos, MD

0 stars if I could. I left during the 1st trimester and thakfully found someone else because the care was awful. I will say her MA was good, but that's it. Experiencing headaches? Go to. Neurologist. Getting sick on top of being pregnant? Go to your GP. Feeling a lot of anxiety? Go to your GP. She literally did nothing to help anything. Appointments are canceled the day of, which is understandable, women go into labor at any time. But, there is no option to see anyone else. Go someone that has other doctors and NPs that you can see if your OB has to cancel. I thought my pregnancy was just going to be miserable, but no, there were plenty of options to make things better, I was just with the wrong provider. Save yourself the agony and do not go to her for your pregnancy needs.

I highly recommend Dr Barb Diakos! Very knowledgeable, listens to your concerns and explains things thoroughly! Second pregnancy through her, she's the best!

Very professional and spent time discussing my health issues overall and all my options. Ultimately after two appointments I decided to get a total hysterectomy. I would highly recommend her.

She is horrible. I'm a young mother to be and I've had my issues with this pregnancy so the last thing I want is to leave my doctors office in tears!

I met with Dr. Diakos for a second surgical consultation and she was amazing!! I have endometriosis and uterine fibroids and was looking at excision with a total hysterectomy, she went over everything with me and and is extremely knowledgeable and encouraged a more conservative approach to treating both conditions. I am so glad I met with and have come up with a new treatment plan! I will be following up with her in the next several months for my endometriosis excision and very confident in her approach to that surgery! She also gave me her card and cell to follow up with any questions I might have after my visit!! Doctors do not do that very often!!

If I could give her a zero I would. Worst OBGYN on the planet. Horrible bed side manner, doesn't care about your feelings at all. She should have her license taken away. I hope all of her future patients read this so they are saved the trouble and heartache of going to someone who 1. doesn't know what they are doing medically 2. Is mostly out of town so you won't be able to get an appointment made through the unintelligible secretaries 3. wont answer any of your questions you may have

Very bad experience with this doctor and office. Please go somewhere else! It's one thing to get poor service at a restaurant or department store, but from an OBGYN is totally unaccepectable. There are plenty of other good doctors in the city.

I have been a patient of Dr. Barbara Diakos for 7 years. She was my OB/GYN for two births (although she didn't deliver my children because she wasn't on call), and she is a very receptive doctor and compassionate. Office appointments never last more than 10 minutes (which is fine because I don't have any types of issues or difficulties), and if I arrive a couple of minutes early, I am usually seen a little early as well.

I called with a question about my pregnancy and was told she was unavailable to speak to me for 4 days. She didn't keep good records, In fact she didn't record my due date, baby's gender, or test results in my file. 2 appointments were cancelled 24 hours prior to my appointment. Terrible and cold bedside manor, but she only spends 5 minutes with you so at least it doesn't last long.

excellent and caring physician. I was able to get an outpatient procedure that helped my periods become lighter where other doctors were offering majoe surgery.
