Dr. Barbara Xiomara Landy, MD

Dr. Landy is honestly amazing. She is so sweet and has a great way of explaining things to both us parents and the kids so everyone feels comfortable. I really love that she isn’t pushy at all and actually lets you speak and share your concerns instead of rushing you out the door. My only complaint is more about the practice itself and their technology. It feels like they aren't keeping up with the latest medical advancements. My daughter had a steady fever between 101 and 103 for six days, and even though we had her tested for the flu twice at the main Bee Ridge location, it kept coming back negative. Dr. Landy eventually suggested we just go to the ER because they would have a faster turnaround time and better answers than what her practice could offer. I really appreciated her honesty and her looking out for my daughter, but it’s a bit frustrating that the office tech is so limited that we had to go to the hospital just to find out what was going on. She is a wonderful doctor, I… just wish the office tools were as great as she is!

We love Dr. Landy! We've been coming to tjis practice for the passed 4 years and even some years before that with my other children. Dr. Landy always has a positive attitude, is very reassuring, and listens and responds to our concerns. Every time we go we hope we get to see her that day.

My daughter’s most recent visit was not so great. She has a UTI, or so we’re guessing. I was told the lab results from her urine would be back within 48 hours. It’s been over a week with no communication after repeated phone calls requesting results. We’re not sure if the pain she’s experiencing is a UTI or if there’s something else underlying.

My son has been with them since birth, 13 years ago and he loves them! I do too! They are all very caring! Few years ago I though of changing doctor due to our location but my son was very adamant and said no! I'm glad I didn't because we moved to a location closer. Thank you all for what you do!

Always amazing! She has been my son’s pediatrician for 4 years! Always there for us!

As always never an issue!!! We needed 4 yr physical and shots for pre k regulations, called and were seen the next day...Thanks to all the staff!!!

Very good and attentive attitude of the staff towards children. It is great that there is an opportunity to come to the clinic without an appointment in the morning if problems arise

She is the best. My daughter has been going there since she was born and she is now 5. I highly recommend
