Like others, she put little to no effort into my issue. Her answer to my problem - and she wouldn’t budge - was bug bites. Yes, bug bites. In fact, I actually had a condition I had to have biopsied. I’m appalled my insurance had to pay for that.

She’s fast, knowledgeable, kind and an amazing doctor. The nurses and receptionist are also unbelievably helpful and sweet. One of the best experiences I have ever had in a doctors office. Thank you so much, team!

If you want to go to a dermatologist who does NOT wear a mask go see DR. BARBARA KEYES in Nashville (I saw her, May 14.) First she said she could not find one (other staff wore them.) Then she switched to "They're controversial." And then she switched again to, "I'm healthy anyway." Thinking she must have missed the memo that carriers can be asymptomatic I mentioned that but to no avail. Of course, Dr. Keyes has the right to go mask-less. Yet, she is regularly "in touch" with people with skin diseases. Is she putting them & others who trust her at risk? I asked my physician who said he would never refer to Dr. Keyes again. Note that I do not reference Dr. Keyes competence but instead offer evidence of her judgment on this issue.

I took my Mom to see Dr. Keyes and we had the same experience as others in that she was in and out within 10 mins., didn't ask about meds or medical history, just wrote 2 prescripts and was gone. My Mom had a complaint about a rash on the back of her head and itching on her scalp but I don't think Dr. Keyes even looked at her head before writing a prescript. She also treated a couple of skin tags on her neck and face with no results. I was a patient of Dr. Keyes a few mos prior & paid my co-pay as required. My ins. company paid their part but couple of mos later I got a bill for another co-pay & my ins co was billed for another visit & treatment that I never had so me & the ins co had to deal with getting that removed. Therefore, I am researching for another Dermatologist.

My daughter and I were seen at the same time. Both with the same condition. We did not receive a thorough exam. We were not given a gown and asked to undress to have an exam. The nurse didn't do a medical history. The doctor came in was in a hurry and only spent a total of 6 minutes with us. She did not ask medical history nor current medications. Both my daughter and I have rear illnesses and many health conditions. And as I tried to convey why we were there she wrote prescriptions instead of lisening. She did not take skin nor hair samples - NOTHING. We were billed individually for the visit and yet only was given 6 minutes together all while she wrote medication scripps. We both take several meds and she didn't ask about them nor medical problems. We both have gotten much worse since the appointment and the medication that she prescribed. She nor office staff have followed up to check on us and when I called to report conditions worsening I was then told by her nurse - you are due… back in 2weeks surely it will wait til then. I was astonished stunned as I've never had this type of service of care ever. I

Fine doctor but very old approaches to care. Probably okay for run of the mill stuff but would not recommend compared to some of the newer more modern dermatologists in the city.

I've never been asked to undress to underwear before seeing a physician. I waited in a cold room for 20 minutes (no exaggeration) with nothing but a paper sheet to cover me before she came in. "Yes it is cold" was her response when I mentioned it. She offered a prescription within 5 minutes , asking no questions about my history with meds, nothing about lifestyle. No curiosity about my reluctance to take those meds. Procedure she recommended - "I had it done 2 days ago - no sign of it" - has left me with a red blotch on my face 2 weeks later.

I have been seeing her for over 15 years I think she is great. Most of all my problem is usually resolved and last for 2=3 years the follow up with lab work could benefit.
