I believe care for a patient or family member starts with developing trust. Getting to know my patients and their strengths is my number one priority. From there I believe it is a joint venture working together to improve their quality of life despite their illness. I also believe education is vitally important. The more one can understand their condition and accept it, the better they will be able to cope overall.
