Dr. Barbara Lowry, MD

From reading these reviews, it is clear that there is no doctor that is the right fit for everyone. I have never found her to be the least bit uncaring, judgmental or a drug pusher. She is very easy to talk to and is a great listener. Dr. Lowry is excellent at providing insights to your behavior and pointing out issues that you never recognized. She has been very helpful to me.

She is more like a drug dealer then a true doctor who recognizes a patient who desperately needs help. Careless and self-serving.

I have nothing but glowing comments about Dr. Lowry. I have always found her to only have the patients' best interest in her treatment . She supplies insightful comments. She helpfully guides her patents toward self discover and provides direction to the patients on how deal with the issues. I do not understand the other reviewer's comment concerning medication. The major treatment for most mental issues is medication. Indeed, it would be rare for a psychologist to not prescribe mediation. There are any number of medications that can be utilized to treat various illnesses. Some of those mediations work for some people while the same medication is ineffective for another person. Some people have no side effects for a certain mediation while other people have debilitating side effects from the same medicine. It is impossible for any doctor to know in advance which mediation might be most beneficial for a particular patient. As a result, every doctor may prescribe a… certain medicine and later determine that is best for the patient to try different mediation. She does not "dope up" patients!

Barb loads you up on drugs with horrific side effects. She also perscribes very addictive drugs, so you have to keep returning. Look up benzos. Yep. Like getting off heroin.
