Very professional person. Easy to talk to and I believe she was listening to what I was really saying about my health. Just have grown to love her!

I can always count on Dr. Mitchell to be thorough and to be honest with me, even if it's not what I want to hear. I am reluctant to give her such an excellent review because that just means it will be harder to get an appt. Great Dr. & great office.

Dr Mitchell is an average doctor at best. She does not possess a remarkable bedside manner nor is she performing miracles in her office. Which is fine, if it wasn't for 3 important patient factors. 1. Long wait times, both in the office and in scheduling appointments; 2. Minimal contact with the doctor during an appointment; and 3. Total negligence and disregard in returning patient calls. Numerous times I've contacted her office with questions and concerns regarding my medications and care, only to be contacted a week later (no seriously, literally 7 days or more at least) by a nurse who has an attitude and no report of a response or action taken by Dr Mitchell or a nurse. And this is after multiple follow up calls. I'm not sure what type of procedures the office has, but in my own clinical work, it has always been unacceptable to not return a patient's call with a resolution before close of business. So, if you'd like a mediocre doctor who's too busy to see and respond to you, come… see Dr Mitchell and her nurses. I'd imagine service and patient care at any of the board of health's clinics is superior to this office's. And I have private insurance.

Occasional wait but once Dr. Mitchell is in to see you, she is very attentive and thorough. A great, caring physician!

I have been seeing Dr. Mitchell for about 3 years now, she was highly recommended by so many of her patients after my doctor, Dr. Alton James retired. My first visit was wonderful and I thought maybe it was just to win me over but that wasn't just a one time thing, She is genuinely concerned about her patients. I don't feel rushed or like a number but she talks not just to me but with me. My concerns become hers and she will not leave until I am completed satisfied. I'm so glad I made the decision to come to her.
