Dr. Barbara Lee Obrien, MD

I moved here originally from MS with hopes of finding better care and a good doctor to treat me for MS. However, I have seen different doctors none can compare to the caring and attentiveness Dr. Cape O’Brien gives to each patient. She has been my neurologist since 2006 and have been the same compassionate and attentive neuro doctor. When my mom was suffering from brain cancer. She attended to her, as well, as my dad that suffer with Alzheimer’s currently. I just want to thank her for being who she is, and being patient and compassionate in what she does.

Dr. O'Brien has been my neurologist for 7 years and has saved my life. She worked hard to diagnose and find the proper treatments to stabilize and manage my condition and continues to look for ways to improve my quality of life. She always listens intently to what is going on with me and she is up to date on new research, treatments and potential therapies. It is so rare to find a brilliant, contemporary physician who genuinely cares, and I highly recommend Dr. O'Brien.

The most impressive thing about Dr. O'Brien is that she did not try to tell me what my symptoms were. She let me tell her, and she listened with genuine interest in trying to help me. She treated me like I had a problem, not like I was her problem.

Wonderful neurologist. Very intelligent and thorough. Calm, intelligent, caring bedside manner. Someone in the office staff can be kind of antagonistic and unprofessional towards the patients, but if you can get past that, it is still worth it to see her as a doctor.
