Dr. Barbara Anne Omara, MD

This doctor has, on numerous occasions, spoke to my spouse about my health without my permission. She hasn't performed a thorough physical in 3 years and has ordered drugs and tests without even seeing me or examining me. She took my spouses concerns as a reason to prescribe a new drug and order tests. the latest episode of this went on for over 45 minutes. Waiting 30 to 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment to get into the office is not uncommon. Once in the office, it is quite difficult to get Dr O'Mara to hear (listen) to what you are saying and to believe you when you say something. For someone who is so highly educated in her fields she has taking me from hypothyroid to hyperthyroid by over medicating me. Test results must be dragged out of her and most of the time they are "okay" or "right where I want them". For some reason she just can't give you the numbers, if the report at all. I highly recommend if you are given an appointment by with this doctor, run and ask… for a new doctor. Needless to say, I will never go back to her.
