Rude, condescending and devoid of empathy.

I've been going to Dr. Porter for over 10 years. She has always been professional, friendly and thorough. She keeps up with changes in the profession and treats me accordingly. If there's a need for a specialist she doesn't hesitate to refer me to one. I've always been treated well by the friendly staff.

She will do the bare minimum and pass you along to someone else when it doesn't work. Don't waste your time seeing her, you will get no relief.

Dr. Barbara looked like a real nice caring lady but once she opened her mouth that thought went out the window. I felt like she was not listening to my complains and only wanted to only diagnose one symptom when I had about 3. I fell, my neck hurt,and i was getting itching arms and not to mention the sprang heel/ankle. I was told to choose which was bothering me the most well all!! but i couldn't stop itching even when i was there and she handed me a allergy information sheet and said it was probably exzema and allergies put together. Thanks! Then went on about changing bar of soap and lotion to unscented//news flash// that what I use. Comes out to be I have a herniated disc and was suffering from brachial radius pruritus from pinched nerve.

I went to see her because I have lumps in my breast. After she examined me she said they were benign. How can she tell without a mammogram, ultrasound, or biopsy? She also spent a total of 5 mins with me. No explanation, no reassurance. It was no big deal to her. As a person who comes from a family with a background of cancer, I take this very seriously.
