Staff is extremely rude. No one ever answers the phone, and it takes several days to get a response from messages left. Visits every 6 months are required for refills of any prescriptions - even something as benign as omeprazole. They are just greedy to get my money & money from the insurance company!!

Dr. Kent is a really great doctor, I have been with her for years. She's not one of those doctors that just prescribe you something and send you out on your way, she actually takes her time to research and diagnose your symptoms. It is very rare to find a Doctor like that these days, I really do appreciate her. As for the staff, there have been issues but they are getting better. I have recommended my friends and will keep recommending them as long as she stays open.

I was a patient of Dr. Kent for years. I even followed her when she left the First Clinic and continued to be her patient for years after that and then life stepped in and I lost my job and insurance. I recently tried to go back to her as I am now insured again and was told that when I left I took my records ( which I never did) and therefore I can no longer be a patient of hers. I have never heard of anything so RIDICULOUS in my life. People life situations change all of the time. So if I relocate and need my records and come back you are telling me that I can no longer be your patient. That was the best thing you could come up with? There are 1000's of doctors here in Nashville that would love to have my business and from the sounds of your reviews you should not be turning anyone away.

Dr. Kent is a very good physician, her staff at best is poor. They do not return calls, call prescriptions in timely, etc. I do not believe they relay messages to Dr. Kent or she is even aware that I have called repeatedly and asked to speak with her. It is a shame that her staff represents her in such unprofessional manner.

When I first started seeing Dr Kent she had an efficent staff and the office ran well. She is not a natural listener and is something that she has to work on. I found that she would dig until she found a solution to medical issues and she has a great list of doctors she refers her patients to when more expertise is needed. She also is not afraid to say she doesn't know, if she cannot find an answer. Over the years her office staff has declined and the situation has gotten to the point where they cannot be trusted. referrals and prescriptions not called in as promised.

Dr kent is cordial and approachable.However,the turn around time for test results is poor. She needs more staff as using the same person to check me in as draws my blood and call in my meds could have been the reason those prescriptions I was assured would be called in the day of my office visit still had not been received two weeks later. When I finally did get a living,breathing voice on the phone,there was a pregnant pause as it was realized the ball had been dropped. My medicines were called in that day,two weeks later and received in the usual prompt way from the drug company.

Let me start off with a positive message: Dr. Kent is very thorough and she looks at all of the possibilities, erring on the side of caution. I appreciate that about her. But her office operations is the worst. They NEVER answer the phone--EVER. I have had to actually go done to the office for help that could have been handled over the phone. The answer I always get is..."there is something wrong with the phone lines." I would imagine they would have contacted the phone company in all of these years. I know that I am going to change providers because I need much bette service than her office delivers. It is so poor.

Overall experience has not been the greatest over the years. High turnover of staff has been a problem for us, not allowing us to communicate with her. In recent years, staff have been very unfriendly, almost rude at times! When we needed her most while in hospital, she never even showed up! ??? What's up with that? Will definitely be changing doctors soon...very disappointed!

Wonderful doctor, great communication, answers all your questions and keeps up with what is going on with you! Her thorough diagnosing saved my life, literally, a few years ago. She is amazing.
