Dr. Barbara Schibly

Dr. Barbara Schibly performs Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and practices integrative and functional medicine alongside fellow BodyLogicMD affiliated physician Dr. Gregory Pippert at BodyLogicMD of Maple Grove. Dr. Schibly dedicates her practice to helping women and men overcome hormonal imbalances such as menopause, andropause (the male menopause), adrenal fatigue and thyroid disorders, using a three-pronged approach to wellness, which includes customized nutrition and fitness regimens in conjunction with bioidentical hormones replacement therapy. Dr. Schibly believes that a combination of proper diet, regular exercise and balanced hormones can make all the difference for our overall health.

Dr. Schibly made the decision to transition into integrative medicine because she wanted the opportunity to spend more time with her patients, in order to address their health and wellness needs from a preventative standpoint. Barbara Schibly, M.D. graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Biochemistry in 1978. She later received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1981. After an internship at SW Michigan Center for the Health Sciences, Dr. Schibly completed her Residency in Preventive Medicine at the Uniformed Services University in Maryland. Dr. Schibly is Board Certified in Preventive Medicine and served as a Diving Medical Officer for the United States Navy.
