Dr. Barbara L Seifert, MD

Dr. Seifert is the best , most personable doctor I have ever met. Never did I feel rushed and she took so much time to explain things in terms I would understand. She is very caring and funny and was so great with my daughter who is normally very scared at doctor visits. The most down to earth, trust worthy doctor I have ever come across. I have been using her for years and she is super consistent. Wish I could use her as my primary. Please never retire Dr. Seifert! Great and friendly staff as well.

I read the previous reviews and the two poor reviews astound me. When I called for an appointment it was quick and efficient. I was able to grab an appointment for the very next morning. When we got there, the receptionist was kind and helpful. The total time we were there was long. However, they took us in for the testing during the time Dr. Seifert was with other patients. I can't imagine chastising staff for laughing in between appointments. Apparently, some people don't want others to have a pleasant workday. The entire staff was pleasant and seemed to enjoy their work. Dr. Seifert spent a great amount of time evaluating and speaking with my daughter and I. She was exactly what you would want in a pediatric doctor. She spoke on my daughters leven and directly to her as well as me. I left the office feeling confident she was doing what was best for us.

Scheduling an appointment with Dr. Seifert was time consuming in itself. The staff that answer the phone do not have the ability to do their job. Primary responsibility should be to speak with parents of patients with compassion and respect. Next your mailed information to complete prior to your visit. It states that your appointment could last at least 2 hours so be prepared. Ok understood. We arrived on time for our appointment. We were greeted by a nasty receptionist, who could not answer a question...." How long is the wait?" While in the crowded and dirty waiting room we could hear the doctor laughing with staff members in between patients. To make it even worse did we need to hear the doctor state " oh that last patient was only hear for a check up..... Did you know she has Graves disease?" Wow how unprofessional and completely unethical to openly discuss patient private health issues with staff that way. Finally after expressing to the staff that we'd been waiting for almost… 2 hours, they state "as you can see we are busy today and you have to wait" Again with zero compassion. Why work in a field of caring for others when you don't possess an ounce of care for others? That's a retorical question. Further more once the doctor comes in the exam room, were greeted with a remark about why we didn't bring our other child back for a follow-up. Really you're going to scold me because I didn't bring my other kid in. Then when we explained why your staff makes it difficult to schedule even 2-3 months in advance, your reply is rude and extremely judgmental. Then after all that waiting your exam isn't extensive. You barely answered my child's questions. Finally when we ask for a report or something stating her findings we're told..."if I do that for you I'd have to do it for everyone else" Wow!! This isn't the level of care any doctor and their staff should provide. Especially one that deals with children. We would have accepted the long wait if it wasn't accompanied by a doctor with zero bedside manner and poor ethics.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Seifert's for 14 years. I don't know another doctor who is more caring or has sacrificed more for her patients. Dr. Seifert is dedicated to her patients and almost never takes time off. The wait can be long but each patient gets the time and attention warranted. Her staff is always friendly and professional. I have complete confidence in the care Dr. Seifert has given my daughter over the years. Highly recommend.

It's shocking for me to read negative reviews regarding Dr. Seifert. My son has been a patient since 10 weeks old and she couldn't be more professional, caring, competent and knowledgable.

Dr. Seifert has been my son's Cardiologist for the past 8 years. I don't mind the wait, because I know that she does take time with her patients- to explain things fully. My son's heart problem is complex and I trust this doctor with his life- literally!

Dr. Seifert has no bedside manner. For a pediatric office she has nothing to calm or ease children. Her hours are limited. nothing for a working parent, and the wait time is EXREMELY long, for a quick visit with the doctor. After waiting over 3 hours, with 2 small children, i was told sorry my machine is broken and I can't see your children today. She spoke to me in a very condensending tone. I have taken my children's files and gone elsewhere..i recommend you dothe same thing.

THIS MD ENJOYS PLAYING GOD! WHILE EXPLAINING TO ME THAT MY BABY PROBRABLY WON'T SURVIVE THE NIGHT, SHE PROCEEDS TO ANSWER HER CELL PHONE AND CARRY ON A CONVERSATION. PRETTY RUDE AND HEARTLESS. I AM HAPPY TO SAY THAT MY BABY IS NOT ONLY ALIVE, BUT IS ALSO DOING QUITE WELL!
