Dr. Barbara Christine Soyster, MD

Dr. Soyster tended to "forget" critical aspects of the patient's medical care, often re-referring the patient to multiple specialists for the same need.. Had a sense that she did not read the file. Her hours became very limited, and did not seem as if she was really engaged in patient care. Far too willing to just let colleagues "fill in". Her work commitment more suited to an HMO vs a preferred provider setting. Not someone to depend on.

She's the kind of doctor who listens and tells you like it is without sugar coating, so you listen and do what she tells you. I don't want my doctor to be my friends, just a good doctor and I truly believe Dr. Soyster is just that a good doctor.

waited over an hour at the check in. Was not very helpful to answer my questions.

Dr. Soyster is a caring person. She takes the time to answer your questions, makes you feel comfortable etc.
