Dr. Barbara Ann Stewart, MD

Hard to get in but worth the wait.

Over 20 years ago, Barbara noted the poor treatment I was receiving for cronic bronchitis. Thanks to our conversation, my doctor followed the suggestions (to the letter) that Dr Stewart made and I got better! Barbara Stewart is the most competent and caring doctors I've ever known, a great mother and dear friend!

I was shocked when I read the reviews on her. I had the worst experience of my life because of her! Her knowledge and support on breastfeeding was nonexistent. She gave me horrible medical advice regarding breastfeeding, thankfully I have been doing it everyday for almost 15 months so I knew better. She also accused me of being negligent because I didn't follow outdated advice when it came to the care of my intact son. She is the kind of doctor who wants it her way or NO WAY! If you want any say on your child's medical care do not go to this doctor!! She wanted a follow up the next day, there was no way I would see her again, so I made the appointment with my son's primary. She then called CPS on me! I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. No child or parent deserves this kind of "care."

Dr. Stewart has been my daughter's dr since she was a baby.. I've never had long wait times to see her at all...I fly to arizona almost yearly for her to continue to treat my daughter... She's the best in her field and the only doctor i trust with my daughter's life. If it wasn't for her my daughter would be dead today

Dr. Stewart is so caring and attentive, and gave us her un divided time. We felt like we had our own personal doc.

Dr Stewart is the best, and she genuinely cares. If you are lucky enough to get her as a doctor, though, be prepared to WAIT for your appointment. No matter what time of day your appt is, you won't actually see her for 1&1/2 to 2 hours, maybe more. But when you do, she'll spend all the time you need with you. Just know ahead of time that you need to clear your day on appointment days with her.

Dr Stewart is an excellent doctor who has a real genuine concern for her patients. She has saved my child's life and I am forever greatful for the many visits we have shared together. That being said her office staff is a different story. They lack in the area of patient caring which is very disappointing that such a great Dr has such uncaring staff
