Dr. Barbara Switala Searson, MD

Dr Searson had been my optometrist for many years. She does an excellent job getting my eye glasses prescription by being thorough and patient considering my eyes pathology. In addition, she helped me with treatment for dry eyes that solve the problem. When I called North County Eye Center, I was told that she moved out of state. I am sorry that she is not longer in San Diego.

I have seen Dr. Searson for years. She is a warm, caring person and very interested in getting the prescription right. For several years she compensated for the extreme problem in my left eye by using a contact lens when she examined it. However, since North County Eye Center has not purchased the equipment to test my vision in that eye (now -21) in Poway, I have the inconvenience of having to drive to their other location and no longer see Dr. Searson. Boo-hoo.
