Dr. Barbara P Wissner, MD

Dr. Wissner is the best Doctor for her Field. I have been going to her for more than 25 yrs. She is patient, kind, and a Great Listener. I went to two Doctors before her and I am so Thankful I found her.

Asked questions then told me she couldn't help me, complete waste of time

Sometimes I feel like Dr. Wissner might be quick to prescribe antidepressants and doesn't necessarily explore other methods to control or stabilize depression. She certainly encourages exercise and discourages use of alcohol- but I feel like I could go off meds with better ongoing support. Perhaps meditation or diet changes- neither of which has come up in my meetings with her.

Dr Wissner is the counselor I have been seeking. She was right on target with her diagnosis and she changed the meds and dosages that were counteracting each other. In just a few short weeks I felt like a new person. I truly believe that because of her, I have a new life....
