Dr. Barbra J Seltzer

I have had the fortune of finding this dentist who has treated me for the past seven or so years. She is personable and truly cares for her patients. Her work is impeccable and top notch. I have never had any problem with her or her top notch people she employs.

Not sure why this fantastic dentist only has a 3.1 rating. She goes out of her way to accommodate her patients. I refused to go to a dentist for decades until i had an issue- My wife had been seeing her so I gave her a shot. That was 16 years ago and I have been seeing her regularly since. She is personable and well versed on her trade. Once she fixes the problem it remains fixed. - the only criticism I could possibly see is with the cleaning specialists- she has had quite a few of the years- the current one is quite good though.

The worst! Never had dental pain or major issues until I went to her. She did a fairly routine repair and ruined an entire quadrant in doing so. Within a few months, adjacent theeth required antibiotics & treatments by specialists (had to be put on pain killers several times too) When I asked for clarifications on charges made to my insurance, I was treated rudely & chastised in front of other patients. I’ve heard her speak badly of/too other patients as well. She just too busy micromanaging everything to be focused, effective, and attentive. She cares only about the financial bottom line.

I have been going to Dr Seltzer for nearly 30 years, She is one of the Gentlest and Most caring Dentist I've ever met, also Dr Seltzer's Staff is Outstanding. If you tried the rest go the Best!

I will not be returning to this lady anymore, first the money thing is ridiculous as she will hunt you down for 4.00. She acts as if she does you a favor with giving you Novocaine as I needed more than 3 shots and she definitely was aggravated. Also I took a little more time than needed an acted as if she was doing me the favor by sitting there with me, she talks with everyone else around you but you when you are sitting in her chair. It was her fault I was there for almost 3 hours... her bedside manner is.......wait she doesnt have a bedside manner. Oh and yes.. her shoes are more important than her patients.

Shes out just for you money doesnt care about whats best for patient just whats best for her wallet. Office staff is rude and naggy stay away!! She did not give the best option for my dental work now I have to live with it STAY AWAY

I have never in my life met such a money hungry person! Everything was about money. On the phone, first thing when you walk in her office. She asked a patient for $3.00 in front of other patients. She would speak about patients in front of other patients using names! I was once in the chair for 3 hrs. while she took personal phone calls, joked with other patients and made appts. Why have people in the front desk? Isn't that their job? She micromanages everything.The way she treats her front desk workers was horrible. That's why every time I went there was a new person working the front desk . God forbid if you cancelled an appt. it was as if you were taking money out of her pocket. Stay away, go to someone else!!!!

There is so much to say that I'll try to keep it short. Every appt. I made was rescheduled. She would call my house like 10 times until she could r/s. This happened every appt. not just once and a while. She would discuss my payment and dental information for everyone in the office to hear. Once she spoke to her brother on the phone for 45 minutes when I was I sitting in the chair. As a dentist she was ok but i always has a balance. With my old dentist and same insurance policy it was all covered. I was so unhappy I left and told her why. My overall experience with dr. Selzer was not a good one!
