Barclay Bigelow, MD

He is very polite very knowledgeable and his nurse Lorain is very nice and she gets stuff done when you need prescriptions etc But there Boss Tammy is very rude and very unprofessional she takes for ever to get stuff done and never calls you up And she is argumetive

Dr. Bigelow has been my doctor for 25 yrs. I think that he is the best.

Dr. Bigelow has been my physician for 15 years. He's attentive, asks the right questions and listens to your answers. While he's quite up to date on new treatments, he's not always going to recommend the latest and greatest. To some people, that might be a downside. To me it's one of his strengths. Dr. Bigelow will generally begin with a conservative treatment with well-known medications that aren't likely to have the side-effects of the concoctions that are so aggressively marketed these days. If a problem can be solved with a little exercise or life adjustment, he's going to recommend that in preference to simply throwing pills at it. He's not going to deny you a medicine you need, but he's interested in your knowing what you're taking. So if you're looking for a doctor who's just going to throw medicine at you, then go elsewhere. If you want a doctor who's going to work with you on a better, more sustainable solution, then I couldn't recommend him more highly.

If I could, I would give Dr. Bigelow 10 stars. He is always considerate, caring, insightful, and thoughtful. He is always up-to-date on the best and latest treatments. He listens and has alway made me feel that he cares about me and my needs (and also those of all my family members). He always follows up and remembers all that we have discussed in previous visits. He never treats me only clinically as a patient but also as a friend. I am 68 years old and my experiences with Dr. Bigelow have been the best I have ever had with any physician in my lifetime.

I love this doctor. I have always come away from his office feeling like all my concerns were addressed and the diagnosis of any of my problems was correct.

He does not beat around the bush, lays it out and expects you to follow up. Great personality and respectful.
