Dr. Barkha Vijay Amlani, MD

Amlani treated me after Dr Bush left. W/ doc Bush , I was well treated and lupus was quiet. when in pain he treated that immediately. With Amlani its been aweful. She said to me I do not have pain per the labs. She refused to prescribe prednisone telling me I will never have it again. She wrote a note in my medical record that orders any doctor not to prescribe me pain medicine- prednisone. I switched rheumatologist and that one was also Indian. She advised me to do all I can to dispute her medical negligence.

Dr Amlani did spend quite a bit of time with me, and her supervisor, Dr Susan Hylland, also attended. There were medical findings during the exam but she documented a completely normal exam in my record. This has caused problems to the point my disability insurance claim was denied. It's hard to claim disability when there are absolutely no physical findings noted. Her errors will certainll continue to effect my healthcare for years to come.
