In our office, I love the patient that comes in for a second opinion because I know what we tell them is going to be completely different. I love the patient that comes in with the ever so common complaint that “I had this work done recently and it just never felt right” We can often provide a solution that has these patients convinced that we just performed magic.
I am honored to be invited by Dr. Clayton Chan as one of the premiere regional center facilitators supporting Occlusion Connections teachings and to be a part of the AgilityGuard Team.
Dr. Bastian is enthusiastic about Water Sports such as Surfing, Stand-Up Paddling, Kiting, Windsurfing and Tow in Surfing, and is able to assist you in understanding how the AgilityGuard might address the needs of participants in these and other sports.
Education
Dr. Barkley Bastian graduated from University of California Santa Cruz with a BA degree in Biology in 1989. He has furthered his graduate training in dentistry …at the University of Washington Dental School 1994 where he received his DDS degree. His active lifestyle and love of the outdoors prompted him to move to Maui, Hawaii in 1994 where he has established his private dental practice in Pukalani.
Dentistry has provided Dr Bastian with license to learn and he has done that, through continuing education courses that have helped him defined his practice today.
Upon taking many CE courses every year the Las Vegas Institute for advanced Dental Studies provided Dr. Bastian a platform to meet some great mentors like Dr Clayton Chan, Dr. Robert Jankelson, Dr. James Gerry along with countless other colleagues looking to “up the ante” of not only their practice but the quality of their lives.
Dr. Barkley Bastian’s practice focuses on whole body health, Neuromuscular, Restorative and TMD. Dr. Barkley has been a member of the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) since graduating from dental school.
