Dr. Baron Takayuki Denniston, MD

The man had me so much medication I was like zombie and then he abruptly cut me off without giving any explanation. I had to withdrawal from 12mg of Xanax that I was taking daily for three years. Had to spend 9 days in the hospital bc of it.

Dr. Denniston is the most wonderful doctor I've ever had. Unfortunately his office staff is extremely incompetent. It's almost impossible to make an appointment over the phone. I've left messages, with no return phone call, or the voice mail box is full and I can't even leave a message! Every time I go for an appointment I've been able TO make, the receptionist says I have a past due balance. I have NEVER received a bill in the mail!! Also, they only accept cash or checks, which I rarely have on me. I left his practice for this reason, which I'm sad about because he is such a great doctor.

I love going to Dr. Denniston. He is always so nice and genuinely tries to make you feel comfortable and explains things very well. The only issue I have ever run into is looong wait times. You might have an appointment at 3pm but you could be waiting until 4pm. While a bit irritating, I think it means he is truly taking the time each patient requires. As for the reviewers who have thrown around the term "candy doctor" I really dislike that. He prescribes what he thinks is best for you and for the first few weeks offers check ups to make sure you are responding correctly. If you are not, he will adjust your dosage/medication as necessary. I also have never had a problem getting refills on medication even if I am a bit late in asking for them. Also, the front desk staff is always extremely sweet and accommodating and very knowledgeable. All around a great office!

I've been going there for three years. My meds are never ready on time. The secretary does not deliver correct information to the do to. I've had to go through WD bc of this. He's got me on 7 meds and is making go a whole week with out any. Last time I had a seizure. I've contacted a lawyer and this so called doctor ( pill pusher) won't be around much longer. He's being investigated and they're going to take his license soon. I work with the DEA and he's number 2 on their list of candy doctors. I wouldn't recommend going here

Feel comfortable talking to him and trust him.

I have only been with him for a month, but can tell that he really cares. I think he is going to help me, and that's all that matters to me right now.

I have been a patient of Dr. Denniston for many years. He has diagnosed me well and has done his best to keep me on an even keel all these years. He truly cares about his patients. He is usually running late, but if that's all I ever have to deal with, I feel like I am very lucky to have such a caring doctor.

Dr. Denniston is a beast, he cares about his patients and as a medical student myself id like to set the record straight. His medical knowledge goes beyond child psychiatry, HE WENT TO MED SCHHOL. just like any other doctor. some doctors don't spent time to take care of ppl, he isn't one of those. Also he does his homework when needed!

I have been a patient for 2+ years and my wife years longer. Dr. Denniston may run a little behind, but when you get in with him (at least for me and my wife) he NEVER rushes us out. Takes all the time I have needed and will even call you at home after 6:00 P.M. if there are any issues with blood test or other test results. Most doctors are at home by this time. It was great finally getting a diagnosis and the right meds to treat my symptom's that have plagued me for decades (and I have seen several others over the years) and never felt as well as I do now--NORMAL (well as "normal as any one else on this Earth -:)

dr. denniston took the time, compassion and care to help me best. he looked at my case from unique angles other dr's had never taken the time to. yes, he tends to run behind, but when you need him he is always there for you. he does not work for a nice car and mansion--he works to help you.i would have never made the strides i have without his help. he is up to current medical studies, well-rounded, and walks off the beaten path.
