Had 4 procedures. Never had an issue.

I went to him for several years for chronic pain. During the years that I went you only see his assistants. Only time you see him is when you are getting a shot and it is very brief. At the last two visits I told them my pain was different and I was hurting pretty bad that it affected my daily activities. They adjusted my spine simulator and told me it would take a couple of days for it to adjust. I called a spine doctor and found out that I had a slipped disc that was pressing on my spine. There is more to the story but you get the idea. I had surgery and that different pain disappeared.

They don't care about patients and their pain, only money. They'll cut your meds out without you even going against their contract. If the shots are not good for you. I can't live with this pain anymore. They don't care, their in for the money only.

Worst physician ever. In and out the room. Doesn’t give you the time of day and his staff is rude AF.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THE HORRIBLE RATINGS ABOUT THE DOCTOR, TIM & ESPECIALLY THE STAFF. I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS NOW. NOT ONCE HAVE I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. LOVE MY DOCTOR, LOVE TIM AND LOVE THE STAFF. THERE IS NOT 1 NEGATIVE COMMENT THAT I CAN/NOR WILL MAKE ABOUT THIS DOCTOR AND HIS STAFF. THEY ARE AMAZING ??????

He is unbelievable. I was discharged bc of one of his PA (Tim). Received a letter that states lies. That I was rude and in violation of an opioid agreement. I always done what they asked of me to see if it would help. Never and I mean never failed a drug test. I was discharged bc I had back surgery that didn’t work and I refuse to have a stimulants installed. So they couldn’t make and more money off of me. They cut my meds down to nothing and when I told them they refuse to do anything. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone. As long as you are having test and procedures don’t your are fine. After they will kick you out.

First words out of his mouth were I am going to help you and get you off of the pain meds. The next time I saw him he accused me of being ugly and mad and mean I guess he had never seen anyone in pain before. I have congenital stenosis and scoliosis bulging disc in every part of my spine as well as arthritis and fused vertebrae from bone spurs. I also have bone spurs pressing on nerve roots. When my condition caused me to lose my job and therefore lose my insurance he immediately released me from the clinic. He actually told me he did not know why I was hurting even though I had several imaging and reports stating of the different problems that I have. Of the more than two years that I went to him for treatment I only saw him about four times out of 20 or more visits. I was also billed for injections that I never received and when I brought it to their attention they told me oh no we did give you an injection and I said I am sorry but you did not and I need my money back. The… place is a dump also.

Horrible doctor told me I wasn't old bough to be in pain medicine even though I'm 33 and have 3 bulging discs and 2 herniated discs! Not to mention I waited 3 hours to see him!

My primary doctor who had been prescribing me my pain medication decided he no longer wanted to write my pain medications. I called Dr Johnstons office and the staff was very helpful getting me in to see the doctor within a couple of hours. I am a paraplegic and I have had many issues with my medicene and I have not always taken as prescribed. I was completely honest with the doctor and he seemed to understand that I had became codependent but was willing to try and start weening myself with his help to a lesser dosage. He left me and called my primary and my primary gave him information that a home health care nurse had reported. I had problems with Bayou Health Care from day one. Several nurses quit them while I was under their care. Dr Johnston came back in room and told me he would not be my doctor because of what the primary care doctor told him. He would not listen to me or my mother try to explain what had happen and in fact snickered when even my mother tried to explain. He… open the door and told us "there's the Exit, don't come back". I totally can understand when a person messes up no one believes when you really want to get a plan to get clean but I don't understand that it's the DOCTORS who prescribe you the medicene, increase the dosages and then when you are addicted to it or codependent they no longer want you as a patient and then treat you like a dope head.

The staff was very professional and helpful when I scheduled my first appointment and worked with my insurance company. The doctor and nurses were really nice and seemed liked they care. He gave me several treatment options and didn't pressure me to do anything I wasn't comfortable, which some doctors have done to me in the past. I already feeling better after a couple visits.
