Dr. Barry Parker has been creating beautiful smiles since 1972. He graduated from the University of Southern California and the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. Dr. Parker went on to complete his specialty training with a master’s degree in orthodontics at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the Alameda County Dental Society and the Alameda City Dental Group.
Dr. Parker is a native of Alameda. He attended local public schools and he and his wife, Lolly, raised their son and daughter here. Dr. Parker is an active member of the community. He is a past president of the Alameda Boys and Girls Club and was instrumental in developing a plan for a dental screening clinic in the new club building. He volunteered on the Boy Scout Foundation and many public school committees. He sponsors baseball, soccer, basketball and swimming …teams, and continues to support all youth in Alameda.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his five grandchildren and indulging in his love of photography and traveling. You will find him in the morning at 5:30 a.m. working out with the Alameda Master’s Swim Team.
