Dr. Barrie Ross, MD

If you are a workman's comp patient, BEWARE. This doctor is thoroughly beholden to the insurance companies. She does not care about helping you. She cares about pleasing insurance companies so that they will continue to refer patients. It's all about money. She declared me fit to return to work a) without ever inquiring about the physical requirements of my job and b) without ordering a Functional Capacity Evaluation. Her actions were unsafe and extremely unethical. If you can get your workman's comp to refer you to another doctor, please heed my warning and do so.

I sustained a hip injury at work and have been dealing with it for 7 months. I was sceptical of this Dr. due to the appointment being scheduled by the Worker's Comp. Administrator and the outcome of the last provider they scheduled. Dr. Ross was a breath of fresh air! She is VERY professional and listens and she is my advocate, not the Worker's Comp. Administrators advocate! I so look forward to my continued care from her as well as her refferals. Thank You Dr. Ross!

Not a very caring doctor.

dr ross gives a 30 min examine then gives a low impairment rating when she didnt even have me do a functional capacity test just had me do motion test how can she give a correct impairment rating this way

I feel that Dr. Ross did not give me a correct disability rating and that she is more concerned with satisfying the WC carriers than with your injuries

Dr Ross wasted no time, and took intrest in finding the awnser to my injury , after I had failed Dr Visits Prior to seeing her.

She made up her mind immediately as to what my diagnosis was and became unwavering in her decision. Never did really listen to my description of what was going on with my body and what I believed to be the root of my pain.

One of the best docs I have met;helped me deal with my condition and addressed all of my family's concerns as well.

Dr. Ross did not spend any time with this patient. She "assumed" he was pain med seeking before he even came in for his first appointment. He said he wanted to see another doctor for a more accurate examination and solution to his pain. This is a horrible doctor and is not fit to properly diagnose and fix actual problems.
