Dr. Barry Benjamin Abraham, MD

I went to Dr. Abraham three times, 10-15 years ago. I felt that he had a terrible attitude. Reading some of the comments on here, I see that many other people feel the same way. I can't believe the man is still practicing dermatology all these years later.

This doctor was insanely rude. Talked over me multiple times and was very passive aggressive. Every time I tried asking a question he shot me down and told me I did not know what I was talking about. He also yelled at me because I could not remember the name of one my my medications and told me he would not help me since I came to my appointment unprepared... never going back to this office.

I had a rash under my breast and under my belly area. I'm overweight. He looked at the rash under my belly and yelled. "YOU HAVE THIS, BECAUSE YOU HAVE THAT" (pointing to my overweight belly). True Story! I told the nurse assistant, and she said, yes, he's rude.

MY FIRST DERMATOLOGIST THAT MESSED IP MY FACE. ALL THE OTHERS AFTER HIM TRIED TO FIX IT. THIS DOCTOR DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, HE DOES NOT MNOW WHAT HE IS DOING, HE WILL GO WITH WHAT HE CAN MAKE MORE. HE USED TO GOVE ME CREAMS THAT MADE MY WHOLE FACE BREAKOUT, BUT REALLY WHEN I WENT TO HIM I ONLY HAD SOME PIMPLES, NOT MY WHOLE FACE. HE PUT ME IN ANTIBIOTICS FOR MONTHS AFTER THAT AND FOR OVER 15 YEARS AFTER SEEING HIM MY FACE IS STILL NOT CLEAR, IT GOT WORSE. Some doctors I see now are trying their best to fix it. Abraham needs to get sued for pain and suffering. This is one doctor that his malpractice insurance needs to pay for. Please don't call him a doctor because ge does not act like one.

Dr. Barry has horrible bedside manners. He was rude during his evaluation and when I ask for clarification he wrote down his diagnosis in a piece of paper and asked me to look for it online. I asked him about some sking tags that I want to have removed and he told me that my insurance did not cover the removals and that I would have to pay for it; he stormed out of the office without asking me if I was interested in having them removed (I was going to pay for it). I have never felt this way with a doctor before, he's rude & intimidating and not willing to answer the patients concerns. There are plenty others dermatologists out there, do yourself a favor and go someplace else..

What an incredibly rude man. He made fun of my being concerned about my mole(s). My concern is why I went to a "professional" in the first place. Even after waiting over an hour and a half (yes, over 90 minutes), I was still very polite and kind towards him during the whole 8 minutes that we spent together. Skin-cancer is quite popular within my family, and he made fun of that, too. I was told to follow up in three months. I'd rather live on the streets for a week than be in the same room as Dr Barry Abraham ever again. He needs some serious help with his people skills.

Excessively long wait in waiting area had to wait over 2 hours before taken back to exam area Office staff is very rude and ignorant.

FOUND THE DR. TO BE VERY KNOWEDGABLE AND SPENT A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME DIAGNOSING MY CONDITION.
