Dr. Barry Matthew Cogen, DO

Dr. Cogen is an amazing physician reminiscent of times where the doctor was more concerned about his patients and their well being as opposed to shuffling patients through as fast as possible. Dr. Cogen gets to know his patients and their families and spends a considerable amount of time with each one. They say, if you want to find a good doctor, just ask a nurse... well, this RN would highly recommend Dr. Cogen to anyone looking for an amazing, friendly, and intelligent physician!

Dr. Cogen has been my physician for over 5 years and he is thoughtful and empathetic to my every need. He listens to all my concerns and offers his most detailed medical approach to the treatment that would suit me best. I am appalled to read the hasty comments of his office; which I can validate, as a medical professional myself are NOT TRUE!! Wendy, Dr. Cogens wife is a medical assistant and does all the necessary duties required to maintain charting, asking patients for their chief complaint, history and physical, vital signs, and giving this information so that Dr. Cogen can have an easy flow and understanding of what the issues are presented with the patients who come into the office. Wendy and Dr. Cogen’s vast knowledge and unbiased approach to the disease of addiction is amazing! They helped paved the way for me celebrating 9 years of recovery at the end of this month. I could not have do e it without them and I owe them the utmost respect and love for their caring manner. Keep… up the fabulous care of your patients Wendy & Dr. Cogen and thank you always! Dr Cogen has been my primary care physician for over 25 years. He has always shown a level of skill and professionalism rarely seen anymore. Additionally, Wendy is such a jewel! She has spent countless hours reassuring me through various medical situations. Very supportive. Dr Cogen has been extremely prompt in ordering whatever further medical tests or procedures he deems necessary and has been instrumental in arranging for expedited care to referred sources. The follow up and followthru by Dr Cogen and his staff are beyond reproach and I would certainly recommend this medical practice to anyone.

Dr. Cogen, discovered that I had hypertention on my first visit to his office. He is a caring knowledgeable physician. I highly recommend him.
