Dr. "Barry" is an unusual find - genuinely caring and takes his time, especially in reviewing test results and treatment options. Makes you feel like a partner in your care.

Since this Doctors office was taken over by North Shore LIJ it's been disappointing. Waiting time has grown exponentially and the thoroughness that used to happen is not there anymore.

He is a very good doctor, but waiting for him is very frustrating. I can wait in excess of an hour before e even comes in to talk to me. He is in somewhat of a hurry to get onto the next patient, so I do feel a bit rushed. I went in for my yearly physical and he never even mentioned getting a Flu shot. He believes in "the more medicine, the better" and pushes meds rather than altering discussing how he can alter your lifestyle to prevent disease.
