Dr. Barry Mitchell Farber, MD

The worst shrink I ever had. IMHO he's a hospital hack that could never built a practice of his own-at least not based on his personality or bedside manner. Cold, unfeeling and not very knowledgable. Find someone-anyone- else.

I saw Dr farber during a recent inpatient stay. In the course of a week, I spent less than 30 minutes with him. He came up with a diagnosis that was immediately discarded by doctors that had treated me for 20 years. On top of that, he offered no explanation or treatment plan for this diagnosis(Which I was only made aware of upon discharge). Doctor would not discharge for a week, but nothing was actually done that week to work on problem. I am also being billed for this.I cannot say if at one point he was a good doctor- In my experience he should not be treating patients at this time.
