Psychiatrists are barely accountable to higher authorities, such as organizations (that employ them) or the state. Psychiatry is premised on little more than the so-called "clinical judgments" of the psychiatrists. That's what makes them different from other physicians, whose work is premised on lab tests, imaging, and hard science diagnostic tools. Psychiatrists have enormous, almost unbounded, power over patients in clinical settings. The psychiatrist can make almost any claim he/she wants about the patient, no matter how unreasonable or untrue, without fear of consequences.

This guy is a nightmare . Take his license away . He doesn't know you know what from his you know what but he will lie to you like a hyena in heat in springtime just to get your money . Scheister .

I regret following Dr. Farber's advice regarding taking medications. It was the beginning of what felt like the end for me for far too many years. I'm still trying to get back what's left of myself and the life I almost fully lost.

He made many belittling, scornful remarks to me concerning sensitive personal matters. I made the mistake of opening myself up with this doctor only to end up suffering long term emotional damage. He also made many irresponsible judgments about me that had no basis in fact. He constantly seemed as if he was pretending to know things that he didn't really know. After I stopped seeing him, I obtained his medical reports, and discovered that the reports were full of fabrications and omissions of fact. We've all met doctors who are just trying to save face by pretending that they're doing their work when in fact they're not. This man is clearly that type of doctor.
