Dr. Barry William Feldman, MD

I moved to my present address over 5 years ago. I have changed my address with your practice 3 times. I just received a bill 120 days late because they were sent to my old address. This is unacceptable and could hurt someones credit rating. It better not happen again It better not happen again

Dr. Barry Feldman is a great doctor. He has been our personal Internist for over 33 years now. My last visit, he sat down with myself and my wife, took the time to talk to us about my condition, prescribed the necessary anti-biotic medicine, along with other helpful hints. He was right on the money within 10-14 days, my infection was gone. I don't know where some of the other reviews says he is a showboat with the interns. Quite the opposite. For those who don't realize this, Dr. Feldman teaches at the Wayne State Medical School, and he is also one of the many doctors that are allowed to have Interns come into the practice, to actually walk and learn, observe, take notes, and examine the patients IF you are willing to do this. There is a sign posted for all to see, that IF you DO NOT WANT INTERNS in the room, you tell the nurse who places you in your room while waiting for Dr. Feldman to see you. Interns need on the job training, how else are they going to really learn the correct… bedside manner it takes to make the patient calm, and to console the patient, that everything possible will be done to alleviate whatever is wrong. If need be, he will send you to a specialist such as an Urologist, or Gastroenterologist, or a Cardiac Doctor. He sees the whole patient, meaning you as an individual, with all the other problems in your life, personally, physically, medically. It is true sometimes you have to wait for the receptionist to answer, as she tells you please wait, there are other calls ahead of you. You patiently wait, and you WILL be heard. If you need a prescription refilled, there is a number to press in the menu for this. Barb and Sue are great nurses also that assist Dr. Feldman. His wife, Mrs. Leslie Feldman is always in the office, ensuring a smooth flow of continuity in service, appointments, etc. My wife and I would have not been here for over 33 years now, had it not been for the care, concern of Dr. Feldman. We are blessed to have him as our doctor and one who will be there when needed. It takes us an hour to get to his office. It has always been well worth the long trip. This doctor Is the best doctor he saved my wife life twice the only problem is there is only one of him the best doctor in the world

If I got the care and attention that his students get, I might be slightly more impressed (not really). Appointments are his drama class for his students. Lousy doctor - RUN!

Dr. Feldman cares more about showing off and impressing his students than he does about his patients.

Hold times on the phone are horrible. Takes forever to make appointments!!!
