Dr. Barry David Goldman, MD

I went to have a lipoma removed. He assured me that it will be a simple procedure and the lipoma will be gone in no time. But I end up with my first ever keloid scar and a much bigger lump than before.

Dr. Goldman staff is very friendly and welcoming. Visited his office 3 times an each time my experience with him has been absolute stellar. I booked an appointment by phone and got an email follow-up shortly after booking the appointment.

This doctor is probably a 3 out of 5. He has a terrible staff. My insurance did not pay for my visit as the person in charge of billing is so incompetent. Her name is Marina and she is very, very rude. When I called to tell her that the wrong no was put on the form sent to the insurance company she did nothing to help and practically hung up the phone. She also sent me a bill for the $125 that she incorrectly submitted. After calling the insurance co the correct it and having the ins. company call her she still would not accept my call. This was not the first time this happened - it was the third - I corrected the first two myself. If a doctor can't hire competent staff then a patient has to be put through unnecessary burdens to get the bill paid. I asked that Dr. Goldmann call me and I never received a call back - I am sure there are over 100 other morwe qualified dermatologists in New York City to see without putting up with this nonsense. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE AN APPT WITH… THIS DOCTOR.

Dr. Goldman was assume. He first introduced himself sat down and asked me why i was here. He listened and then thoroughly examined me. He then explained what i had and what we were going to do about it. He's the best!

Dr. Goldman is a thoughtful and compassionate dermatologist. He spent all the time i needed to go over my skin care regimen and help my acne. He corrected mistakes i was making at home and really fixed me up.
