Dr. Barry Charles Gorman, MD

Dr. Gorman has treated me for 20+ years. He has adjusted my medications as needed, and is excellent at following up. Since my condition has stabilized I've seen him only periodically, for medication review and a short updating of my situation. Our visits have always been cordial and productive. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

My experiences are mixed. When I first visited said doctor, I was told that he had an excellent reputation regarding pharmocology. Many medicines were used, switched, or dropped, until a variable of medicines I could deal with whose side effects were livable, was made. After that time and the medicine routine was established, visits were brief and non-communicative on occasion. Bedside manners left something to be desired. I do believe he knows medicines, but our personalities did not gel. After awhile, I left because I did not think I was getting the kind of treatment I expected, and did not want this man to be my doctor anymore.
