Doctor Gruber is very professional, knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend him.

I’ve been going to Dr. Gruber for about nine years. He confirmed my psoriatic arthritis dosage and has gotten me to a biological medication that really helps with my symptoms. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful toward me. And I have never had an extraordinary wait time. I recommend this office.

Horrible, rude, and condescending. Misdiagnosed me to boot. I would never go back to this office.

I'm guessing that the negative reviews are coming from the type of person that watches CNN and thinks that it is news or someone that thinks Representative AOC is an intellectual.

I was shocked to read these reviews. I have been seeing Dr. Gruber for Osteoporosis for over twenty years. He is a leader in his field and I have followed him since he was at the osteoporosis center in Stony Brook. He is thorough, kind and compassionate, extremely knowledgable and has been testing and treating me for my condition. I feel confident that I am getting the best. The staff here has always been efficient and cooperative. I have no trouble making or changing appointments and never wait long in the facility. I even travel forty minutes to see him.

My doctor recommended that I see a rheumatologist after a botched surgery, hospital infection, and a nightmare antibiotic used to treat it. I picked Dr. Gruber because he was board certified in several specialties and none of the other incompetents I had been to prior were willing to invest the time to figure it out, nor address the elephant in the room. Picking Dr. Gruber was a huge mistake. He wanted to know what another doctor said, he then told me he agreed with that diagnosis, asked if I was checked for autoimmune diseases and I said yes, but I could not recall which ones off the top of my head. I bought my binder full of bloodwork results with me and he couldn't be bothered to look at it, but wanted me to come back in a few months, so he could then test me for autoimmune diseases. If he thought that the other diagnosis was correct then why retest for the bloodwork that he was too lazy to look at?!!! He is all about the money!!! I would never return.

I wholeheartedly agree with the comments from the reviewer on Aug, 28, "The majority not to say all the staff customer service and lie to cover their incompetence." In a digital age, where referrals are now retrieved online, Dr. Gruber's front office staff refuses to figure out how to retrieve the patient's referral from the insurance provider online, saying they can't (natch won't). They instead make the patient call their primary. This has happened several times; some times they get the referral, most times they don't. When they don't, they tell me to call my my primary, and the primary always ask the same question: "It's all online. Why don't they call the insurance provider? You needn't have to call us. They should us." I don't normally participate in these reviews, but when I saw a a few of these, I had to vent. Sad part is this won't make a change for better healthcare service.

I was nervous about results of my bone density test. Dr. Gruber walked in and made me feel comfortable and as he questioned me he put me at ease about my concerns telling me he reviewed my results and all is well. In the course of the evaluation he discovered my usual ache in my right hip was bursitis so i will return for more treatment following blood workup he sent me for. He answered all of my questions professionally and in easy to understand terms. I feel I can trust him and look forward to being under his care.
