Dr. Barry Dewane Hendrix, MD

Dr. Hendrix is a good doctor. I have been seeing him for years and for a while I have been seeing Heather and like her too.

I haven't seen Dr Hendrix in a kong time, I see his nurses. I keep track of my health myself by keeping my vitals checked. I go to the dr. when I think it is necessary. So far they are trying to take care of me and I ask questions and stop taking meds that they love to push.

The office called her to come in but no reason as to why to she should come in. She was not sick. There was nothing wrong. Her BP was under control. He tried to push on her what he called a “magic pill” on my mother. She had worked hard to get he BP under control with her cardiologist. And it was working. When she refused to take his “magic pill” (which she said she would consult her cardiologist) he told her he was writing down she is uncooperative...an told her on the way home to stop by the funeral home and make her funeral arrangements. And said he was firing her as a patient. First, what about collaboration with the patients. Second, she was told to come in for no reason- only to take off all BP medications. and force on her a new medication when her current regime had her BP well under control. If he felt so strongly then why not collaborate with the cardiologist. Poor!

I and my family have used him since my children were born. In fact, he delivered my daughter eighteen years ago. Anytime I see him, it is with a smile and a handshake. I have never been misdiagnosed as others say (I have done followups with specialists afterwards if I am concerned). I couldn't ask for a better doctor in this area hands down.

Luckily I have not been a patient of Dr. Barry Hendrix. I have had three different family members that have though. These three received the WRONG diagnosis. From what I understand, he is a very friendly likable guy in person and not difficult to get in to see promptly. The smart-aleck response to a comment on his rating that "Paragould has some good veterinarians" told me all I needed to know about him or his office staff. That comment was extremely unprofessional.

He has always taken EXCELLENT care of my family. He has been able to help and support my family in the best of ways. I could not say enough about how truly awesome he is!!!!!

Very sorry doctor and worse staff

the office staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Hendrix will spend time explaining your diagnosis, and is also very willing to answer any questions that you have.

You would get better opinions from a Vet.......

SEE THIS GUY AT YOUR OWN RISK- VERY POOR DR. I COULD NOT EVEN RATE HIM AS LOW AS HE TRULY DESERVES.
