Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Israel graduated from the University of Southern California, in 1980, with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences.
In dental school, at the University of Southern California, Dr. Israel discovered his passion for Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. After graduation in 1984, Dr. Israel went into private practice.
Dr. Israel is a "lifelong student" of Dentistry and enjoys taking numerous continuing education courses, in order to provide his patients with state-of-the-art treatment!
In 1999, Dr. Israel began to incorporate Orthodontics (Braces and Invisalign) into his practice. Dr. Israel is a Sr. Certified Instructor for the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO) and has lectured nationally on Orthodontics and had an article published in the IAO Journal.
…One of the greatest compliments Dr. Israel continues to receive is when patients whom he treated as children bring their young children to be treated in his practice!
In his free time, Dr. Israel enjoys spending time with his wife, Barbara, and their daughters, Lauren and Amanda.
Dr. Israel enjoys sports, golfing (although he says he is not very good), cycling, and landscaping.
