Dr. Barry Scott Kimmel, MD

I saw this dr. recently. He is the first person who took any action in the right direction. He spent 15 mins. with me going over my chart and what the issue is. I do not care for the staff-when I went in there with a UTI, the front desk person told me how bad it was to be on antibiotics when I said I was on them. She had no business giving her opinion. I was treated before this by the NP, Blake. She did absolutely nothing for me and told me I've had every test done. I didnt have half the tests done. She blew me off and told me well lots of people have blood in urine. Cancer runs in my family as well as bladder cancer. How does she know if I have cancer or not without testing me. I wouldnt go to her or recommend her. Im sticking with Dr. Kimmell.

I saw Dr. Kimmel for a second opinion, but will definitely stay with him. He spent significant time explaining my diagnosis and range of treatments, and made sure that I understood everything. Instead of pushing an aggressive and invasive procedure, Dr. Kimmel recommended a more conservative approach, In the end, it was exactly what I needed. If you are looking for a kind, caring, and experienced physician, you should choose Dr. Kimmel!

Would not recommend this doctor or go to him again. Found a lack of communication between him & staff. Staff acted annoyed when follow up calls were made. Doctor & staff left patient in pain for 5 days & didn't seem concerned to address problem quickly. Felt there was a lack of compassion & professionalism, as well as overbooking!

Dr. Kimmel is the finest Urologist in the South Jersey Area. He is competent, caring and treats the patient as a person. His office is filled with a caring, compassionate staff. Other urology practices in the area have become like large clinic- like factories, giving uneeded tests and not spending quality time with the patients. I felt like a number in their office, not a person. I am grateful that I found a Urologist like Dr. Barry Kimmel to treat me, and would recommend him to anyone who'd like to be treated with good, sound, honest medicine.
