Dr. Barry Weldon King, MD

r. King quite literally saved my daughter’s life. We had seen multiple doctors before, and while many were kind and helpful, no one was able to truly understand what was happening beneath the surface. Dr. King took the time to look deeper—chemically, medically, and emotionally—and he recognized the underlying issues that were causing her mental health to spiral in a way that terrified our family. For the first time, we felt seen, understood, and guided with clarity instead of fear. What set Dr. King apart was his combination of medical expertise, compassion, and absolutely zero judgment. His insight and thoughtful approach helped us make sense of what was happening, and he provided a plan that genuinely changed the course of our daughter’s life. Today, she is working full time, has been sober for almost a year, and—most importantly—she is alive and thriving. We are forever grateful. We love Dr. King and sincerely believe he is one of the most intelligent, dedicated, and remarkable… physicians we’ve ever met. Our family cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr.King is caring, confident and very competant. He has helped me more than any other doctor.

Barry King is an unprofessional, moody, aggressive, vindictive, dishonest, unscrupulous, poor excuse for a doctor. His license has come under investigation for unethical behavior relating to an incident that occurred while he performed a Pap smear. When a person becomes a doctor he must swear an oath known as the Hippocratic oath. The Hippocratic Oath is an oath of ETHICS. The promises that are made include the principles of medical confidentiality and a commitment of non-malificience, meaning to ‘to do no harm.’ In my opinion Barry King has no respect for this oath. He actually shares very confidential information with others when he believes it may benefit himself, especially if his ethics are questioned. He definitely has no regard for his patients. He has a quick volatile temper. On one occasion he lost his temper and got right in a patient’s face and screamed at her, that wasn’t enough he followed her to her car to finish his rant. It was incredibly traumatizing to this… young women. After reading his reviews I am sure you will be persuaded never to give this joker a chance. BEWARE

You could not find a worse doctor than Barry King. Not only does he have a past of sexually abusing women, but he also attempted to physically intimidate my wife. An incredibly strong women who is a continual survivor of a debilitating chronic Illness that is most often terminal. She was late for an appointment after being evicted from our home unexpectedly at the time of the appointment. We came to apologize with the hopes that he might see her anyway. He acted like the furthest thing from a doctor and more like a childish bully. After getting in his face over him threatening her he decided that he would take her off her medication. If you don’t believe me. Google Berry King. Honestly this guy should be in jail for sexual abuse. Not practicing medicine!

Dr King has delivered all my grand children . He is the absolute BEST!!!! I would never trust anyone else. He is so kind, caring & down to earth. His passion for his profession shows with his kindness & patient care.

Barry King is one of the most honest, caring, intelligent & compassionate physicians. He is one of the few physicians that TRULY cares about his patients. Grand Junction has truly lost one of the absolute BEST OB/GYN in the state. Dr. King is amazing & I wish him best!!!!

Dr. Barry W King, MD is willing to take advantage of unconscious women to perform "pranks" on them, such as dying their genitals without their consent? What's to stop him from forcing himself onto a woman who is unconscious? Nothing!

Dr. King is an outstanding physician!! He is the most honest, caring , compassionate physician ever. He truly cares about his patients & treats each & every patient as if they were one of his own family members. His compassion, knowledge & expertise is sorely missed in Grand Junction!!!!
