Dr. Barry Abbott Koffler, MD

It took 3 weeks to make an appointment, on arrival he was a very nice Dr unwilling to prescribe any medicine I had to wait 1 month after the visit with him for surgery when I called his office to help we've paid the Assumption was I was fishing for pain medication so they were very apprehensive to call him anything that would be effective. The point of going to an orthopedic surgeon because an MRI has said you have severe disc damage is to get out of the discomfort and move forward with your life with a plan and progression. Here it was an immediate judgment shovel you out the door and take your money and go pay. Never again will I recommend or go see this doctor.

If you are looking for a doctor that will tell you what you want to hear, hold your hand or take the most aggressive action possible just to earn a buck then you should go to someone else. Resurgens tried to talk me into surgery twice and Dr Koffler told me that it would probably give me the most immediate fix, but also gave me lower risk alternatives to try first.

Worst doctor I have ever seen for any reason. Has zero manners. Rude to the core and disrespectful. Gave me a steroid shot for my shoulder pain. Pain returned with vengeance in 2 days and my arm was frozen. When I called Dr.Koffler said that I should just live with the pain. The front desk woman is just as rude as the doctor. I then went to another surgeon, had a surgery and got my arm movement back.

Dr Koffler is terrific. Our entire very active family and many friends have been treated by Dr. K. He never pushes surgery and is very clear in his diagnosis and recommendations.

Dr. Barry A. Koffler is a consummate professional who cares deeply about every patient who walks in the doors of his practice. He takes his time and gives constructive feedback. I give him an 11 out of 10!
