The best experience surgeon

THIS DR OPERATED ON MY SISTER AND REFUSED TO GIVE INFORMATION

Dr. Levin took care of me between the ages of 17 and 21ish. My lungs just wanted to collapse on their own. I was scared and thought I was having a heart attack. He took such good care of me in the emergency room. When it came time for my surgeries he was wonderful. He always explained to me and my parents exactly what he was going to do..or what he was about to do. From preparing for surgery....surgery....to removing chest tubes. There were never any surprises. When the hospital staff took me out of bed too soon after one of my surgeries....he kindly let them have it on my behalf. He was always available and even had other patients call me (with my permission) to hear my experience and ask me questions. Again...this was many years ago and as many time as I thanked him....I don't know if he truly knew how much I appreciated what he did for me and my family. It was a scary time and Dr. Levin and his staff helped me through it. I'm sure he wouldn't remember me...and I wouldn't… expect him to....it's been many years...but I hope he gets the opportunity to read this. Thank you Dr. Levin....even after 25+ years I am still greatful that you were the surgeon on call at Holy Cross Hospital when I was only 17.

Dr. Levine performed surgery on my mom. It was a horrible and complex surgery. She was in intensive care a week. After a year of chemo, radiation, surgery, more chemo, she was cancer free for 3 years. Then the cancer came back. THe fact that she needed more chemo after surgery shows he didn't get all the cancer during the surgery. He is not much of a talker, so don't expect to get all your questions answered. But he's been doing this a while so I guess he's a decent surgeon.
