Dr. LoSasso is one of the best doctors in the country that does the Nuss procedure. And, he is only one in a handful that works on adults like me who are over 40 years old. If you want great care with excellent results, Dr LoSasso is your guy.

Doctor Losasso is a complete professional with outstanding bedside manner. He takes the time to explain everything in detail, go over everything so you understand and answers all of your questions. Doctor Losasso keeps to his word for timeframes and gives you his feelings and opinions as if he was you. Dr. Losasso performed the Nuss bar procedure on my son in 2016. On our consultation visit we asked all the questions a concerned parent would ask. I should have went with my gut feeling at that time when I felt his answers were sarcastic. The main question was how about when it’s time to have the bar removed. He said he was planning on opening an office in New Jersey but he would promise to take care of his patient and make sure he was taken care of. Now that it’s time to have the bar removed we feel abandoned. I’ve contacted Dr. Losassos office numerous times as well as emails and voicemails. First we were directed to have xrays done and mailed to his office. We did that. No return call or email. I called again. No response. Email, no response. It’s been 3 months. So much for the promise to take care of my patients. We’re now trying to locate a surgeon to remove the bar which I’m sure we can figure out but the overall feeling of being abandoned by a Doctor who said he would be there… for you just feels bad.

I cannot say enough good things about this Doctor. If you have Pectus Excavatum and you need the Nuss Procedure. He is the only surgeon you should be speaking with. He really cares about his patients and takes the time to explain everything and walk them through the entire surgery both before and after. Dr. Losasso is the best!
