This Dr. Barry S Meyer DO is a bully and over prescribes all his meth-head Medicare patients. He doesn't follow through with weigh-ins or critical blood tests. Case in point: I got in for a checkup, he talks to me about my weight not changing and that it is a problem. Well yes, I should have informed him that he is looking at the same number from 2 visits ago but I didn't because It’s not my job to tell him what to do or that his staff is lazy and forgets to weigh me in unless I specifically point it out after they take my blood pressure. So then my ingenuous DR BARRY S MEYER DO who is now suspect of my orders a $455 full panel Dr. Barry S Meyer Drug test to see if I am lying about taking my medication. The best/worst part is that he didn't order the only real test I needed which I can’t mention here but it’s to make sure I am taking enough of a certain medication. So, he orders this test and of course, I test NEGATIVE for everything from Alcohol to Methadone/ worse stuff. He then… calls me a Liar and orders a 2nd test. Well I am not about to pay over $200 in copays because of his incompetence and lack of ability to manage his staff so I get very upset and say I am not coming back and that the test he ran on my (you know the $455 one 2x) did not test the right chemical element to produce an accurate result. Well, he didn't like my reply and proceeds to request for 911 to be called. I at no point was hostile and to make it clearer I was on the other side of a 3-foot counter and a reception window so there would have been no way for me to make any threats verbally or physically without the lobby and employees as witnesses. I think this Dr. Barry S Meyer DO needs to seriously reevaluate the way he conducts his practice or retire. He is the most inconsistent Dr. Barry S Meyer DO I have ever been to because he has no control over his staff and there is no organization. He has prescribed over 13,000 scripts for opioids this year which is a ton considering he doesn't have that many patients and his billing rates are among the highest at over 1.4 million. This type of Dr. Barry S Meyer DO needs to be shut down. He has never once gone over my blood work unless I specifically asked and unless I reminded him of how to do his job he would just meet for 2 mins and leave. Yesterday was the final straw when he met with me pretended to care then left and had his assistant come in to tell me to call Monday for the blood test results. The problem is the fact that he once again didn't test for the right Drug (he wanted a positive result) and wanted to double dip me at $45 per test because of his mistake (I refused). Then he threatened me verbally. I can’t wait to call an attorney about this one Monday. Summary: Terrible Dr. Barry S Meyer DO who only spends 4 mins with you, orders unnecessary tests, is never consistent, fake as in he doesn't actually care about you, all before pushing you out the door to bill your insurance company for services never rendered.

Dr. MEYER IS EASY TO TAL TO. I FELT COMFORTABLE THE FIRST DAY I MET HIM. DOES NOT HESITATE TO ORDER TEST TO BE DONE FOR GETTING THE RIGHT DIAGNOSIS. WIll sit and talk to you. Aleays a good visit. No stress.

Horrible bedside manner. Would not look me in the eye. Walked out of the room as i was talking to him.

The office staff are rude and do not care about you as a person. The doctor came in, asked two questions and left. I will never go back there again. Waste of time.
