Dr. Barry Wade Rolin

Friendly bedside manner -which I believe is part of his con-artist ways. My Story: At the age of 35, I'd only had three cavities in my life and had always attended my bi-annual dental appointments. I had just gotten x-rays from my hometown dentist, 6 months prior to moving to Nashville. After moving here, I needed a dentist and decided to try Rolin. At my first visit with him, he said that I had "cavities beneath my enamel." Naively, I believed him and assumed that a new cavity or two had formed since my last appointment with my old dentist. However, to my astonishment, Rolin drilled into every molar on the left side of my mouth. After the numbness wore off, I realized that he had not properly shaped the fillings and my bite was horribly misaligned. Rolins tried to get me to schedule to have the right side drilled as well but I went to a different dentist instead, where it was confirmed that I had no cavities on the right side. I probably had no cavities to begin with. He charged my… insurance for the max amount they would cover, but he stole more than my insurance. He stole the pride I'd previously had in my teeth. I was too humiliated and ashamed (for being so gullible) to take legal action against him before the statute of limitations ran out. How unfortunate to have statue of limitations for things like this, considering that it can take a long time for a victim of trauma to be able to deal with what happened to them. This happened to me 8 years ago and I am still dealing with the damage.

This place deserves no stars.... Stop and choose another office.

This man will take your money and not think twice about it. I had no choice but to come to him because of my insurance, but I have no problem never going back after the experience I had there. I was told that I would need a root canal and crowns on my WISDOM TEETH and those weren’t the only teeth that I was told would need crowns. He wanted to do a bridge on teeth that weren’t missing. He said that they would be single crowns, because all three needed them, but that because they were together it would be like a bridge. I went and had a second opinion and was told that none of the teeth he wanted to crown even needed crowns. He’s a complete and total joke who’s phone goes off every 5 minutes even when doing a proceedure. He could at least keep his phone on silent while in the room with someone. Needless to say I won’t be back nor will I recommend this man to anyone. The lady at the front desk is rude and quick to make people feel small. The other lady at the front desk tried to tell me… that she would call me with my next appointment and she was quickly interrupted by the other lady and told not to let me leave without an appointment. I felt sorry for her. This is a terrible way to keep patients.

I called and scheduled an appointment with this dentist based on my insurance company saying he was in network. The office is old and outdated to start with, his equipment is ancient and some of it didn’t even work. I should have RAN! This man shakes so bad I was worried he was going to cause more damage to my already painfully sore mouth and gums. Once he was finished I was presented with a treatment plan for an ungodly amount of crowns and on wisdom teeth at that! And several root canals. The lady that presented me the treatment plan introduced herself as the office manager LaRhonda, this lady needs a course on etiquette and not being Fake. While I could overlook the outdated things I can not trust this office. I went for a second opinion and was told that the crowns on wisdom teeth are unnecessary and just a way for Him to make money. As far as the office manager goes he needs to get rid of her patients don’t enjoy being talked down to like they are idiots.

All he could give me was shots and gas to pull the three theeth he was suppose to pull,the gas seemed just like plain oxygen. I was highly nervous, but it still should have done more than it did. Then he acted like he got mad and tired of fooling with me because it didn't dreading and because I was so nervous. And to beat it all he didn't pull the ones I had came in with that where hurting. I will never go back and would never recommend him.He had no bed side manner,or caring!!!!!!!

He told me that he had put a crown on my daughter's tooth 3 years ago after doing a root canal and charged me for it. She has had nothing but problems with that tooth for 3 years. Another dentist looked at it and there never was a crown put on it! What a thief and a liar! The other dentist had to pull the tooth and found a nasty cyst underneath which is the reason she has been experiencing jaw pain all this time!

Staff was very friendly and wait time was minimal.
