Dr. Barry Rozantine, MD

Dr. Barry is the best doctor I a have ever been to in my life. He makes me feel confident trusting him with my health. He makes me feel special and like a close friend. I have never had a doctor this good in my life.

I could not have asked for a better Psychiatrist!

Dr. Rozantine is extremely nice, but only spends about 10 minutes (if you're lucky) with you. He will ask questions then look down at his notepad and not listen to the answers. He asked me numerous times about what I did for a living, it got very repetitive and pretty frustrating. He doesn't really make you feel like he cares. Like I said, very nice guy but heavy on the "I just want your money and to write prescriptions" kind of guy

The first visit with a psychiatrist is typically 45 min to 90 min. Our first session was 20 minutes. I spent a longer time in the waiting room for him than that. He didn't get a chance to make an educated assessment about me before he wrote me a prescription and booted me out of the door. He's very hard to get through to and doesn't listen or consider your side. He's in it for $ that's it. He does not care about patients or making them better. Shame on him.

PRETENTIOUS

Dr. Rozantine was recommended to me by a friend and colleague. I was a bit nervous about my first appointment but Dr. Rozantine put me at ease instantly. He spent almost an hour with me, discussing life habits, past medications, goals, overall sense of well-being etc. I believe he gave me that proper diagnosis and medication, and I will be back in two weeks to check in with him to make sure I am improving. Highly recommend, very kind and compassionate person and knowledgable doctor Has a very sweet cute little dog that stays in the room with you during your session.

I have been going to both Dr. Barry and Dr. Gayle for the past 4 yrs. All my life I have felt "off" but no matter where I went, every doctor and counselor (I tried anyone I could find!) would all say I was "normal" and nothing was wrong with me. 4 years ago it came to a head and I was at the end of my rope. I decided to give these guys a try. I am REALLY GLAD I DID! They saved me. They helped me put myself right. Dr. Barry knew what was wrong with me and got me on the right meds and I go to Dr. Gayle to get a hold on handling my problems the right way. I really wish I had seen then years ago before it got so bad. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them.

I have been seeing this doctor for 10 years now and he is wonderful. I wouldn't see anyone else. He got me straight on my meds and I have done great.

I've seen this doctor some time ago and from what I've observed, both he and his wife are in business together.. Once finished seeing him, he sends you to talk to his wife, a phycologist. Who then spends time asking mundane questions about your life.. "...and how do you feel about that.So, you get double charged for there services.The medication precribed did not help, it only made me sleepy and felt it dangerous having to take this and go to work.
