Dr. Barry Jay Schuval, DO

Dr. Schuval is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. His support staff is another story. The wait is continually over 2 hours. It's impossible to get his assistant to return a call or order prescriptions in a timely manner. Rarely are blood test results shared with me even if there is problem. Office staff are rude and unprofessional. Northwell would be appalled at this behavior. Love the doctor not the practice.

Was giving conflicting information from nurses and when asked for clarification was told they would speak to the doctor and call back. After not receiving a call back for several hours called again and was told they would call back before going home. The office is now closed and no one returned the call. Good place to go if you want to be ignored. I am very disappointed and saddened by their lack of professionalism and concern for their patients.

Excessively long wait times.

Dr. Schuval is an excellent doctor, detailed oriented, and very caring.

dr schuval is no longer with pro health three drs in that practice left. i like dr schuval and would like to continue with him but his former office would not give me any info on where he is very frustrating. apparently this happened very quickly but i would think these three drs would notify their pts where they are going. again dr schuval is no longer with pro health

Dr Schuval is one in million. Truly cares about his patients. Spends as much time as you need to explain your medical situation. I credit him with saving my life with his professional knowledge. He goes above and beyond to make sure his patients get excellent care. He has been my doctor for 20 years and in that time, I have not had any other doctor help me more than Dr. Schuval. If you have to wait that is because he does give every patient the time and attention they need.

He is a great doctor. Patient, listens, helpful. But first you have to get to him, very long waits, and his assistant doesnt return calls.

Dr Barry Schuval is an excellent Doctor. I’m a patient of Doctor Schuval and every time I go to his office he spends plenty of time explaining everything and answers all my questions and he is very knowledgeable. I get nervous when I go to any doctor but Dr Schuval has a way about him that makes you feel more relaxed and comfortable speaking to him.

Dr. Barry Schuval is a caring compassionate person who always goes out of his way to help me. He gives me all the time that I need and makes himself available in between appointments. I highly recommend him. Regards: Richard Canin

My first appointment I waited over 2 hours, my second appointment I waited over 1 and half hour. A lot of people complaining too. Some saying they will never come back. The Dr. spent about 5 minutes with me about had to step out twice. This office is overbooking patients and has no respect for peoples time. The dr is very nice, but I have to to look for another dr who respects my time.
