Dr. Barry Kirk Simon, MD

Flagler Dr. Suite 700, West Palm Beach, FL 33401) as one of America’s Top Radiologists for the year 2010Barry Simon, M.D., FACR, is Medical Director of Diagnostic Imaging Specialists of the Palm Beaches (a subsidiary of OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches, P.A.). Dr. Simon is Board Certified in Diagnostic and Nuclear Radiology, and specializes in Diagnostic Radiology, specifically Mammography and Breast Ultrasound.

Dr. Simon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in New Orleans, Louisiana at Tulane University in 1970. He also attended Medical School at Tulane, graduating in 1974. Dr. Simon then completed several residencies in various locations over a five year span. His residencies include General Surgery in New York, Urology and Diagnostic Radiology in Louisiana and Nuclear Radiology and Ultrasound in Florida.

Dr. Simon is currently an instructor …at the West Boca Raton School of Radiology, teaching a section on Mammography. He is also the Ultrasound Medical Director at the Institute of Allied Medical Professions.

Dr. Simon’s charitable involvement includes having been past President of: The American Cancer Society, Palm Beach County Chapter, The Palm Beach Radiology Society, and the South Florida Chapter of the Susan B. Komen Foundation.

Dr. Simon’s wife was one of the first pediatricians to practice in Jupiter, Florida. He has three wonderful daughters and a son-in-law. “Our baby is a senior in College at Tulane University in New Orleans, another a dermatologist in NY specializing in Mohs surgery (married to a radiologist) and a third living in Los Angeles, CA.”
