Dr. Barry Waldman, MD

Not even sure where to start, other than to say, if you don’t want your life ruined with pain, do not go to this surgeon. I have been living in massive chronic groin pain for the last 10 years. I thought the pain was radiating down from my back. Never did I think it was coming from the hip replacement that Dr. Waldman did in 2015. Fast-forward 10 years…. 10 years of unlivable groin pain every single day, countless injections in my back, spinal cord stimulators, nerve burning, narcotic pain meds… 10 years of, quite honestly, not even wanting to wake up in the morning…. I just had a surgeon in Florida do a total hip revision on the hip that Dr. Waldman put in. Dr. Waldman recorded on his post op report after my surgery that he put a metal on metal Biomet Magnum hip replacement in me- that was the farthest thing from the truth. I did not have a metal on metal hip replacement in me, and when I called Waldman’s office to ask if they even knew what was in me, of course they didn’t respond….… Because they have NO idea what he put in me. Three months ago, I called Dr. Waldman‘s office and he even confirmed it was a metal on metal hip replacement. Oh yes… and The cause of my unlivable groin pain? Dr. Waldman put the acetabular cup completely horizontally and flat which created an impingement in my groin, creating the major pain in my hip, which has made my life unlivable for the last 10 years. I have literally been seeing a spine specialist for 10 years for something that had nothing to do with my spine, but rather an error Dr. Waldman made during surgery. It’s too late to get the 10 years of my life back, all I can try to do is warn other people. You are playing Russian roulette with your life if you choose him.

One year after knee replacement surgery. A year of suffering and pain. The leg is disfigured: the knee is displaced inward, and the foot is turned outward, every step when walking is painful; at night, in order to turn over, I must first have to sit down and carefully turn my leg, otherwise - pain. The surgeon admitted that surgery was done not correctly and calmly, as if everything was according to plan, suggested a second operation, but not promised that the problem will be fixed. Just business and nothing else! The result is secondary. The surgeon was Dr. Waldman.

Dr Waldman is personable and takes the time necessary to answer your questions.

The best orthopedic surgeon. My knees are better now than they ever were. I would recommend Dr Waldman to anyone that wants the best results.

Dr. Waldman is an excellent orthopedic specialist. He uses custom joints (Conformis) so that patients heal quicker.He replaced my right knee in 2018 and my hip replacement last week. I walked out of the surgical center after surgery and recovered at home. He has a wonderful bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. Highly recommend him.

I've seen Dr. Waldman for some time now...and he is an amazing, compassionate doctor. Very in tuned with every pain...every complaint...every question that I had for him. After we exhausted all other remedies, we finally came to the conclusion that full knee replacement was my last step and thank God!! His entire team is A-1!! Everyone knows their stuff and enjoys their job...you can tell! I refer any and everyone to him that has any knee issues...I can say I was truly blessed having Dr. Waldman perform my surgery! He is top notch!

In hindsight, the week before my surgery, something just did not feel right. I had never had this feeling before about any prior operation, but something about this doctor was telling me to cancel the procedure. Unfortunately, I didn't do it, and today I am still paying for this idiot's mangling of my joint replacement. Immediately after surgery, his entire mannerism changed (once he got paid) and getting him to examine me was like inviting the Pope for brunch. Talk about being aloof and not caring in the least are just a few things when describing his demeanor. There is no nice way to describe his knowledge or his surgical skills -- yes there is -- nonexistent. If he was a seller on ebay, he would have been stopped from selling.
