Dr. Bart Wesley Balint

It is a real shame that Dr. Balint has retired from his practice. He was a very caring doctor who really helped his patients that are having pain problems. Since he has left the office is not the same. There are quite a few employees that are gone. The doctor that is left does not take the time to listen to you or what your problems are. The office staff has an older woman in there that can be very nasty. The Nurse Practitioner is the best one there. They need to hire another doctor because this guy will be retiring soon also. It really is sad to see what has happened since Dr. BALINT left.

I literally do not know what my life may have been like without the services of Dr. Balint and his clinic over the past 16 years. He has helped me to manage seriously chronic pain. I have read about others who have not been able to cope and spoken with many as well. I thank him from the depths of my being for all he has done and pray he can return to his practice soon. His expertise is unmatched in this field.

My overall impression from day one with Dr. Balint was that he cared tremendously in helping his paitents receive the best possible care. He listens without judgment and actually hears what I say. This isn't always true for all physicians. Characteristics of DR. Balint include but are not limited to: compassionate, courteous, professional, calm , reassuring, humorous{which is a must with people coping with chronic pain on a regular basis}, and heart. Dr. Balint never makes me feel like he is in a hurry or rushes in or out when i'm in the room with him. I always feel i have his full attention and focus. Dr. Balint provides emotional support for his patients other than himself. He now has on staff a psychologist to aid patients in coping with depression and other life issues. Dr. Balint considers paitents as whole individuals rather than parts or pieces of the body to pay his fee. Such a holistic is refreshing and much appreciated by this female.
