Dr. Bart Alan Chess, MD

I went to Mr. Chess (he is not befitting the title doctor) for a second opinion on my renal nutcracker syndrome. During the appointment he made it a point to tell me my pain and symptoms were not “severe enough” and would only refer to the prior physicians notes. He also spoke to the other person in the room more than myself, the patient and bragged about his skills as a surgeon. I left without a second opinion, still in pain, and made to feel insignificant by a rude, unprofessional “physician”.

Dishonest

Before meeting w/Dr Chess I was filled with much trepidation only to be proven groundless. Dr Chess is an excellent surgeon and he is beloved at AGH! His technique is exemplary!

The Dr. took the time to discuss his findings with the patient explaining findings in films and doing everything possible to make the patient understand . He was fully in control of everything at all times. His bedside manner was fantastic ! My husband had 3 aneurysms Dr. Chess got rid of them. Great Job!
