Excellent. Thorough, caring, listens well, compassionate. Saw me through some difficult times. Because of his busy practice, it can take 6 weeks or more to get appt, but now he has NP who can be seen in interim. She discusses case with Dr. Kummer. It is not uncommon for him to run behind scheduled appt. time, but it is well worth the wait.

Very good doctor. Attentive to details. I would strongly recommend him.

I'm not a believer in writing reviews of physicians because we as patients are judging everything but outcomes which are all that really matter. Does a 45 minute wait time really justify 1/5 stars? Are we ordering pizza here? This doctor is smart, hard working and will give you the best care he possibly can.

I had a 1:30 PM appointment. I arrived at 1 PM. I sat and waited until 2:15 PM. Doctor was with another patient I was told. I rely on transportation for the disabled and my return trip was for 2:30 PM. I use a walker so it's slow going to get to the street. The staff at this registration desk, indifferent as they were, said he runs a bit late all the time. They expect you to be on time and in advance by 15 minutes. Well that works two ways. He has not had the courtesy to contact me and apologize. It's just as well because I'll never go back there.

Dr. Kummer is a very good listener and therefore, was able to diagnose and treat me while several other doctors (from other highly-regarded teaching hospitals in NYC) either couldn't or just didn't.

SIMPLY THE BEST

Dr Kummer is simply the best dr I have ever met. He cares about every person and spents time with them. Ok, you may have to wait up to 2 hours but believe me, it is worth the time. Without him,I would have had surgery for no reason. Now, hopefully, I am in the right road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Kummer
