Dr Morrison was great. My issue is after they received 99% of the money owed and because I moved, I had no idea any money was owed. I had a leftover bill of $11 and was sent to collections. I had no idea I owed this. ??????? Make sure after you pay the amount that they tell you is owed and even after insurance pays you call the lady at the billing department to make sure you don’t owe a few $$$ so she doesn’t send you to collections.

If you have to have a vacation root canal, make sure it's driving distance to Idaho Falls. This office was super. They fit me in right away and took great care of me. Dr. Morrison called that evening to check on my status, and gave me his cell number if I had questions. I texted him twice and got a reply in about 10 minutes. Plus my tooth is fixed. Thanks very much to Dr. Morrison and his staff.

outstanding job fixing a root canal under a crown...

After suffering through the most painful weekend of my life I finally decided that I didn't care what a weekend visit would cost so I decided to call Dr. Bart Morrison on a Sunday. He returned my call within 10 minutes and asked about my situation. He was very attentive and understanding of my situation but unfortunately he was out of state till the following day. He provided some solutions to temporarily relieve my pain and asked if I could make it through the night and if so he would see me first thing the following day.The next day I had my wife take me to his office because I have an extreme fear of any kind of dentists and I was at the end of my nerves (literally). Once I arrived his assistant was friendly and could tell I was extremely nervous so she did a great job to relax me by talking about things not dentally related to help take my mind off of things and once she led me to the dental chair she was really kind and had flip charts to show me what Dr. Morrison was going to do… and walked me through everything in a way that I could understand and relate to. After getting situated Dr. Morrison came into the room and was excellent. I told him of my extreme fear of dentists and he confirmed my fears and explained that everything' would go great and that if I had any discomfort to let him know. He explained what was wrong with me in my x-rays and what the procedure would look like. After confirming I was OK with the procedure he let me know he wanted to make sure he had me good and numb so I wouldn't feel any pain. When he injected the novicaine I couldnt feel a thing (where in the past I've always felt a slight pinch with other dentists.)While he was getting ready for the procedure his assistant stayed with me the whole time asking if I had any other questions or concerns and helped comfort me. After about 5 minutes I was good and numb. I ended up not using laughing gas and instead opted for my iPod and headphones to drown out the drill bit. The procedure took a bit longer than we thought because once he got through my tooth he discovered the abscess was allot worse than we predicted before hand but he was able to extract the puss and after the procedure he injected a medicine into my tooth and then put a temporary filling in the middle of the crown to seal it and then in another 90 days he'll remove the medicine and replace it with a permanent sealant. After leaving the office my wife informed me that he was very pleasant and went out to the waiting room on two different occasions to let her know what was happening and how the progress was coming along (I didn't even remember him leaving?, and as stated before I was NOT on nitros,)I was also very impressed because of his positivity on my procedure and what the healing process would look like. He also upon my request injected a little more novicaine after the procedure to relive my pain for the following hours which i was really greatful for because the numbness allowed me to eat some food which I wasn't able to do for the 3 days prior due to the extreme pain!I was also impressed because he gave me his cell phone number and said if I had any pain, questions or concerns to call him no matter the time. Also later that evening he called me to confirm I was feeling okay and inquired about my pain level and I also received a call this morning from his receptionist to check in with me again.Overall it was an amazing experience for a quite scary situation for me.BTW- I had an extremely nasty abscess under my bottom right back tooth which had a crown on it (the abscess wasn't related to the crown) and the pain was so bad I honestly can say I've never felt anything more painful in my life! The pain spread to my entire jaw, bottom pallete and right eardrum. I had to sleep sitting up for two nights prior and was taking Tylenol 3 and ibuprofen 800 every 4 hours and it didn't even touch the pain. I was also pleased to see the hole in my crown is extremely minimal so it won't be a problem when it comes to getting a permanent filling in it.Overall Dr. Bart Morrison is extremely good at his job and if my childhood dentists were as comforting as him I wouldn't have the extreme fear of dentistry that I have as an adult!
